Autumn is a second spring, where every leaf is a flower. Winter is a gray day, when you savor your bad mood. Spring is when summer steps into the light, and winter in the shade. Then follows the beautiful season… summer.

These are thoughts about seasons. I am trying very hard to stay focused on imagery that correctly causes the viewer to think about "change".

Testing, testing 123......

Testing has begun on the screens that I have developed. I made a sample clay slab with a life circle built into it. My ideas are solidifying. Very exciting to think about this project coming to fruition. I met with the Cad designer and plant foreman yesterday. They now understand my concept and will begin designing the metal parts of the structure.

Seasonal Change

The last leaf comes to a resting spot atop the pile beneath the naked tree. A smile erupts across the child’s face as he greets the first snow. A peek of green from beneath the slush brings hope to the girl sick of her blue jeans. The day the thermometer breaks 70, the beach doesn’t look so lonely anymore. beginning the process

I have been getting organized. Thinking, planning, making notes, lists, and drawing ideas. I began working in the dark room at UICA today. I haven't been into UICA's clay studio in awhile. It is always great to visit a community studio. You get to see lots of creativity.

This picture is of a large press used by a local company.

Met with JSJ Corporation today

We are on for sponsorship with JSJ Corporation. They are excited to be involved and I am very excited to have their assistance in the fabricating of the structure. We will meet next week at Dake Corporation to look at the possible metal to be used. Many ideas were discussed. All very cool!

ArtPrize

Well, I applied to ArtPrize and have matched with a venue. Huntington Bank will be hosting my sculpture. JSJ Corporation will be assisting me with metal work. It is very exciting. I will be focusing my attentions to this for the next several months.
