Screen printing test and ideas, and more ideas
I am almost ready to make my first real test of the pyramid that I am building. I made this slab piece yesterday. Looking at it this morning, I realize that the life circle should be across the entire piece. There needs to be a better beginning and ending with the beach grass on the bottom. The wording should be printed over the other images, not the other way around. Hopefully this will get dry today in the sun and we will bisque it on Wednesday. I start again today with the paper design layout.

Autumn is a second spring, where every leaf is a flower. Winter is a gray day, when you savor your bad mood. Spring is when summer steps into the light, and winter in the shade. Then follows the beautiful season… summer.
These are thoughts about seasons. I am trying very hard to stay focused on imagery that correctly causes the viewer to think about "change".

Testing, testing 123......
Testing has begun on the screens that I have developed. I made a sample clay slab with a life circle built into it. My ideas are solidifying. Very exciting to think about this project coming to fruition. I met with the Cad designer and plant foreman yesterday. They now understand my concept and will begin designing the metal parts of the structure.

Seasonal Change
The last leaf comes to a resting spot atop the pile beneath the naked tree. A smile erupts across the child’s face as he greets the first snow. A peek of green from beneath the slush brings hope to the girl sick of her blue jeans. The day the thermometer breaks 70, the beach doesn’t look so lonely anymore. beginning the process
I have been getting organized. Thinking, planning, making notes, lists, and drawing ideas. I began working in the dark room at UICA today. I haven't been into UICA's clay studio in awhile. It is always great to visit a community studio. You get to see lots of creativity.
